Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer, and model. The actor gained notoriety for his role as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature film, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma when he was just 14 years old. Two years later, the cancer is in the process of remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it produced a devastating effect on the body, as well as slowed down his growth. At the age of a child the boy was used to poverty and so financial stability appeared to be his top priority. In the course of an interview, he declared that if I do not have an income that is stable or feels out of control within the universe, I'll be miserable. Also, he reflects on his childhood and see how he can combat being bullied. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. DJ's ideal position is to be a father in reel and in actual life. However, he admits that directors will not have him cast in this role. Someday he would love to have a child of his own when he would be in a position to dedicate less time on his work and more to his son.
