Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as several films in Malayalam. The actress was honoured with the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child actor in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. She played the leading role in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well at the box office. Even though the film was not a success in the theaters Her debut film was A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in opposite Vikramprabhu. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 resulted in her having to opt out of films that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to take on bigger projects. In the following years, she was working on Rajini's Remo in two quick film. Also, Dhanush and she played as the main characters in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The movie's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and is now expected to occur after September in 2020. It'll have an entirely different name Janakitho Nauu. Subsequently, the debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja which starred actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
